Please join us at AnArte Gallery & Studio for the opening of Brook Rosser's "Peaceable Kingdom" exhibit. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Los Compadres. The opening will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at AnArte Gallery & Studio, 7959 Broadway, Suite 404 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Light Antojitos, Margaritas, vodka and wine will be served. Two of San Antonio's most established non-profits, the San Antonio Public Library Foundation and Los Compadres de San Antonio Missions will join forces to bring #1 New York Times bestselling authors, Laura Bush, former First Lady of the United States, and her daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, contributing correspondent for NBC News' TODAY, to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts for a luncheon and conversation featuring their new children's book, Our Great Big Backyard. The book will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and is a tribute to our National Parks.

Join Los Compadres and our partner organizations for the World Heritage Festival beginning on Wednesday, September 7th through Sunday, September 11, 2016. Events are free with the exception of the Bike Tour and 5K run on Saturday, September 10th which requires registration. Please see below for separate contact information regarding each event.
Please join us for a festive evening of music at Mission San José on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 7:30p.m. Our annual tradition of the free "Music Under the Stars" concert performed by the USAA music groups continues. A variety of musical selections appealing to the whole family will be performed by the USAA Concert Band and Chorus under the direction of Alan Sierichs.
Please bring blankets, lawn chairs and your own refreshments. Parking with on-site security is available at Roosevelt and Napier Avenue.
